FOUNDER CEO, PHILYMACK

Phil McIntyre, entrepreneur and a top entertainment executive, is the CEO of Philymack, the entertainment and music management company for multi-platinum artists Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas/DNCE, and most recently The Band Perry and Iggy Azalea.

As a music industry veteran and with an excellent reputation as a creative marketer, he’s credited with spearheading the successful re-branding campaigns for all of his artists in recent years. In 2015, McIntyre who is also a Billboard Power 100 honoree, put Philymack at the forefront of content creation, music, and endorsement landscapes by forging two strategic partnerships: the first one with Roc Nation, and a second one with the launch of Safehouse Records, a joint venture with Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, and Island Records.

In 2017, Phil took on the roll as producer in Demi’s YouTube documentary “Simply Complicated” which has has amassed over 13 million views to date. Additionally, in 2017, he was inducted into Fast Company’s “Most Creative People in Business” honorees and currently serves on the advisory board for Ember Technologies.

DEMI LOVATO

Demi Lovato is a Grammy nominated and multi-platinum singer, songwriter, actress, advocate, philanthropist, and business woman. She is one of the biggest names on social media with an engaged combined following of over 200 million. Her 2015 album CONFIDENT trended worldwide and hit #1 on iTunes in 37 countries. The 2013 release, DEMI, hit #1 on iTunes in over 50 countries around the world – with the lead single “Heart Attack” earning Platinum status just ten weeks after its release. Lovato’s latest project is the highly-anticipated sixth studio album, TELL ME YOU LOVE ME, which was released in September of 2017 featuring the triple Platinum “Sorry Not Sorry”. Following the album’s release, Lovato premiered the first ever full length YouTube documentary titled “Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated” and is now currently on a world tour.

NICK JONAS

Multi-platinum and Grammy nominated recording artist, actor, and award winning songwriter Nick Jonas released his self-titled debut solo album in November 2014. The critically-acclaimed album included the double-platinum and #1 U.S. radio hit, “Jealous” and his sultry chart-climbing radio single, “Chains”. As an actor, Jonas garnered unanimous critical praise for his lead role in the 2016 Sundance Film Festival favorite ‘Goat’. Jonas continued acting and starred in the gritty television show ‘Kingdom’, a mixed martial arts drama that premiered in the fall of 2014. In 2017, Jonas took on the role of Jefferson “Seaplane” McDonough alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart in the movie Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.

DNCE

Formed in the summer of 2015, DNCE first introduced themselves to audiences worldwide with the release of “Cake By The Ocean”, their now 3x certified platinum-selling breakout smash. The song entered the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became a hit at Top 40 radio where it went on to become one of the most played songs of the year. Global consumption of the song is over 9.5 million adjusted singles, including over 1 billion streams worldwide. Following the success of “Cake By The Ocean”, DNCE went on to release their self-titled debut album which included the singles “Body Moves”, “Toothbrush”, and “Truthfully”. The band recently released two new tracks “Kissing Strangers” featuring Nicki Minaj and “DANCE” which premiered with a Super Bowl commercial in 2018.

THE BAND PERRY

Merging country, pop, and rock elements into a sharp contemporary sound, the Band Perry is comprised of siblings Kimberly Perry (lead vocals, guitar, and piano), Reid Perry (bass guitar), and Neil Perry (drums, mandolin, and accordion). The group officially formed in the summer of 2005, although the siblings had been singing together at home since their childhood years in Mobile, Alabama. Their debut album topped the country charts, hit number two on the Billboard 200, and was supported by months of touring throughout North America and Western Europe. The Band Perry went on to win a Grammy in 2015 for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

IGGY AZALEA

Iggy Azalea is a four time Grammy nominated and multi-platinum Australian rapper who has had cosigns not only from King of the South T.I. but rap royalty from Dr. Dre to Snoop Dogg; in 2012, she became the first ever woman to be named to XXL’s Freshman list. Since then, collaborations with everyone from Southern rappers to EDM artists have followed.

In 2014, she made her US chart topping debut hitting a trifecta of worldwide #1 multi-platinum smash hits: ”Fancy” (featuring Charli XCX, 5x-platinum); “Black Widow” (featuring Rita Ora, 4x platinum); “Problem” (collaboration with Ariana Grande, 6x-platinum). “Fancy” was the longest-leading Hot 100 #1 hit by a female rapper, a new chart record. It was named Billboard’s 2014 Song of the Summer, iTunes Best Song of 2014, the year’s most-streamed song on Spotify, and the most-watched music video on Vevo. While “Fancy” was still residing at #1 on the Hot 100, “Problem” – Iggy’s collab with Ariana Grande – peaked at #2. Iggy had made chart history again, this time as the first artist since the Beatles to rank at #1 and #2 simultaneously with their first two Hot 100 hits. Iggy’s winning streak continued with “Black Widow” (featuring Rita Ora) which rose to #1 on the Dance, Rhythmic, R&B/Hip-Hop, Rap, and Mainstream Top 40 charts, and #3 on the Hot 100. Propelled by the back-to-back success of “Problem,” “Fancy” and “Black Widow,” The New Classic peaked at #1 on the Billboard Rap Album charts, the first for an international female artist. Iggy Azalea’s videos have amassed over 2 billion combined views to date.

Most recently, Iggy released the first single, “Savior” (featuring Quavo), off her highly-anticipated upcoming album, SURVIVING THE SUMMER. The recent single was featured in the Monster Super Bowl commercial which also stars Azalea and was the most Shazamed song during the broadcast.

LAWRENCE TAYLOR

Boasting infectious choruses and spine tingling guitar riffs, 23 year old Birmingham born singer songwriter Lawrence Taylor is one of 2016’s most talked about artists. Debut track “Waiting For Your Love” immediately earned high praise from Clash Magazine and received airplay from BBC London (Robert Elms Session), Amazing Radio and Radio X (Shock Of The New). Lawrence Taylor’s second track “Bang Bang” began life as Q Magazine’s Track of the Day, and then exploded throughout UK, Europe and North America. The track has earned itself over 11M streams on Spotify and was featured in the New Music Friday playlist in the USA and countless tastemaker playlists such as Alternative RnB. To date, the Bang Bang EP has amassed over 20M Spotify streams helping Taylor reach number 1 on both the Global and US Spotify Viral Chart and HypeMachine Popular chart.

GRACE SEWELL

With her smoky, timeless voice, impressive songwriting chops, and youthful take on pop-soul, singer and songwriter Grace Sewell is one of 2016’s freshest success stories. The 19-year-old Brisbane native burst into the public consciousness with her chart-topping debut single “You Don’t Own Me”, a hip-hop-influenced cover of Lesley Gore’s 1963 emancipation anthem of the same title. She injects that same empowered attitude into the sassy, soulful songs she has recorded for her debut full-length album FMA, an acronym for “Forgive My Attitude”. CHORD OVERSTREET

Singer/Songwriter Chord Overstreet grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. His father, Paul Overstreet, is a two time Grammy award winner and the recipient of 5 BMI Songwriter of the Year awards. Known for his critically acclaimed role as quarterback turned glee club member Sam Evans on FOX’s Emmy Nominated and Golden Globe winning series “Glee”, Overstreet graduated from high school in 2007 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in singing and acting. In 2015, Overstreet became the first artist signed to Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, and Phil McIntyre’s Safehouse Records a joint venture with Island Records. In 2017, his debut EP Tree House Tapes was released featuring the songs “Homeland” and “Hold On”.

ADAM LAMBERT

After blowing everyone away on the eighth season of American Idol, Adam released his debut album ‘For Your Entertainment’ which featured collaborations with Lady Gaga, Pink, Max Martin, and Muse’s Matt Bellamy. It spawned the International hit ‘Whataya Want From Me’ which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. His second album ‘Trespassing’, featuring collaborators Pharrell and Nile Rodgers, debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard charts and became the first album to reach the number one spot in the US and Canada by an openly gay artist. In 2013 he appeared as a guest star on the hit TV series ‘Glee’. Adam released his highly anticipated third album ‘The Original High’ in 2015, which entered the worldwide chart at no. 3 and featured the hit single ‘Ghost Town’. The album, his debut for Warner Bros Records, was executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback. After a sold-out world tour to support the album, he went on to play Eddie in the Fox version of the ‘Rocky Horror Show’ and later that year finished his stint as a winning judge on The X Factor Australia. LABEL

Safehouse Records is an American record label created by artists Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and their manager Phil McIntyre. Announced on May 26, 2015, their goal is to “put artists in control of their art while providing them the best tools to manage their careers”. The first official album to be released from the label was Lovato’s fifth studio album, Confident (2015), followed by Nick Jonas X2, the re-issue of Jonas’ self-titled second album. On December 15, 2015, it was announced the record label signed a joint deal with Universal Music Publishing Group, and also welcomed Chord Overstreet to a publishing deal, as part of Safehouse Publishing.
